REFINEIT-EK is economy modification of REFINEIT for gold refining hobbyists. This system is extremely simple in operation. Place your gold in this system, turn power supply on, wash refined gold.

REFINEIT-EK refines gold by dissolving and removing all base metals from the gold alloy (electroparting, patented), without actually dissolving the gold itself; once the process is complete, all that remains is 24K gold powder inside of anode compartment.

REFINEIT-EK will refine almost any type of gold except computer boards. Gold-filled items must be mixed with solid karat gold before refining. REFINEIT will provide the best gold return with the lowest consumption of chemicals, and will reduce the entire process to a single, simple step, minimizing the need for human involvement.

* REFINEIT-E requires adequate ventilation and proper chemicals handling.

Brief Description of Gold Electroparting Protocols:

For 2K to 10K gold:

  • Melt your 2K - 10K gold and cast an ingot
  • Place gold ingot into the unit, fill the unit with electrolyte and turn on power supply
  • 12-24 hours later, remove anode section and wash refined gold with water
  • Remove refined gold from anode section
  • Use refined gold

For 10K and more gold:

  • Melt your gold with copper, or with gold-filled items to make it 6K to 8K, and cast an ingot
  • Place gold ingot into the unit, fill the unit with electrolyte and turn on power supply
  • 12-24 hours later, remove anode section, wash the gold with water
  • Remove refined gold from anode section
  • Use refined gold
