INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Gold Electroparting Protocols:

      For 5K to 10K gold:

  • Melt your 5K - 10K gold and cast an ingot
  • Place gold ingot into the unit, fill the unit with electrolyte and turn on power supply
  • 12-24 hours later, remove anode section and wash refined gold with water
  • Remove refined gold from anode section
  • Use refined gold

      For 10K to 14K gold:

  • Melt 10K - 14K gold and cast  (or roll) a plate no more  than 1/8 inch thick, or melt with a small amount of copper, gold-filled items, to make it 6K to 8K and cast an ingot
  • Place gold ingot into the unit, then fill the unit with electrolyte and turn on power supply
  • 12-24 hours later remove the anode section, and wash the gold with water
  • Remove refined gold from anode section
  • Use refined gold

      For 14K and higher:

  • Melt your 14 and more karat gold with copper, or with gold-filled items to make it 6K to 8K, and cast an ingot
  • Place gold ingot into the unit, fill the unit with electrolyte and turn on power supply
  • 12-24 hours later, remove anode section, wash the gold with wate
  • Remove refined gold from anode section
  • Use refined gold
2. Silver refining protocols

       For sterling silver

  • Cast a silver bar from sterling silver
  • Prepare electrolyte silver nitrate in dilute nitric acid
  • Place silver bar into the system
  • Turn power supply on
  • 12-24 hours later, remove cathode plate and wash attached refined silver with water
  • Remove refined silver from cathode plate.
  • Use refined silver

      For low karat silver

  • Cast a silver bar.
  • Prepare electrolyte from dilute nitric acid
  • Place silver bar into the system
  • Turn power supply on
  • 12-24 hours later, collect electrolyte
  • Selectively precipitate silver from electrolyte by copper foil
  • Wash with water
  • Use refined silver
3. Gemstones removal:
  • Place jewelry on the platinum mesh anode. When possible, cut parts with the stones from jewelry, this will accelerate proccess.
  • Place anode into the system and turn power supply ON.
  • 5 hours later remove anode section, wash stones and gold powder with water.
  • Separate stones from gold powder.
